SEL and Titanium trims can get adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist. The Edge’s adaptive cruise control system is now able to fully stop the vehicle and can automatically steer to a degree when traveling on the freeway. The steering-assist system uses radar and camera data to allow it to help the driver execute defensive steering maneuvers. Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ also includes voice-activated navigation with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.
SiriusXM Radio is standard on all trims, while the Titanium trim gets a B&O Play premium stereo system with 12 speakers. Ford’s Sync Connect system is now called FordPass Connect and is included on every Edge model, as is Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Waze navigation and Ford+Alexa compatibility.
