2022 Ford Escape

No matter your lifestyle needs, you'll find an Escape that meets them. For 2022, the SUV comes in four trim levels: S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. If you stick with the base S trim level, you receive 17-inch steel wheels. The SE trim switches out these steel wheels for alloy. Car buyers have the option to enhance the SE with the SE Sport Appearance package, which features a panoramic sunroof, black exterior trim, and 19-inch black wheels. Consider the SEL trim for 18-inch wheels, fog lights, roof rails, and LED headlights. The SEL is also available with an optional appearance bundle, the SEL Stealth AWD Package, which adds black exterior styling details and 19-inch black wheels. Lastly, the top-of-the-line Titanium trim features LED fog lights and 19-inch wheels. It's also available with an appearance package, the Titanium Elite, which adds chrome exterior accents and a panoramic sunroof.

A 1.5-liter inline-three engine sits under the hood of the 2022 Ford Escape. This engine can generate as much as 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. If this isn't enough power, pick the 2.0-liter inline-four engine. This optional upgrade can generate 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Both engine selections link to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Escape can tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped. To add, the SUV comes standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is an available upgrade.

Climb into the cabin of the Escape to find seating for up to five. This two-row SUV offers plenty of space for riders of all sizes, as well as 33.5 to 37.5 cubic feet of cargo space. If you want to increase cargo capacity, you can fold down the second row of seats for 65.4 cubic feet of space. The Escape also comes with standard infotainment technology. A 4.2-inch display sits on the dash, which connects to a USB port and six-speaker stereo system. Bluetooth connectivity is also standard. If you want additional infotainment features, you can enhance the Escape with an 8-inch touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system, built-in navigation, satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Many safety features come standard with the 2022 Ford Escape. Lane-keep assist and lane-departure warning are two driver-assist safety technologies that help drivers stay on their path.
