Eight trim levels are available for the F-150, so it's easy to find one that works for your specific tastes. The base-level XL already comes with some exciting features including power heated side mirrors and a locking tailgate with lift assist. Upgrade to the XLT, and you'll get chrome bumpers, a rear window defroster, and 17-inch painted alloy wheels. At the Lariat trim level, the F-150 boasts power-folding heated side mirrors with LED spotlights and LED headlights and fog lights. The King Ranch trim offers a bit more luxury with adaptive LED headlights and 20-inch alloy wheels complemented by rain-sensing wipers. At the Platinum level, you get 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and power-deployable running boards. Meanwhile, the Limited trim boasts 22-inch polished aluminum wheels and a twin-panel moonroof. With five different engine options, you'll have no problem seizing enough power under the hood of the F-150. The base engine is a 3.3-liter V-6 with 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. You can upgrade to a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 with 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. If you're more interested in a V-8, there's a 5-liter model with 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 manages the same amount of horsepower as the V-8, but it also boasts 500 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there's a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 hybrid engine with 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque.

The F-150's performance is defined primarily by its capability, and it has some of the best in its class. In terms of towing capacity, it can handle up to 14,000 pounds when properly equipped, which is the highest towing capacity available for this class of vehicle. Additionally, it offers a payload capacity of up to 3,250 pounds, which is among the best.

Inside the F-150, you'll find a relaxing and functional interior with numerous hidden storage compartments to take advantage of. Plus, the available 12-inch infotainment touchscreen is state of the art and runs SYNC 4 software, which is among the best on the market. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.
